Does anyone know if Ionic is getting all of the new features "Fitbit Today" "reply to notifications" "new watchfaces" that they advertise on the upcoming Versa?

@TheNinowrote:

There will be a beta campaign as for the last Ionic firmware update?

Where did you read that there will be a beta?

Sorry, I was not precise in my sentence. There _was_ a campaign for the ionic on the firmware that is now available.

Hi everyone!

Thanks for sharing your interest in the new products and features. I'd like the information that we have so far in regards of the Versa on this article. I would also like to share this comparison between the Versa and the Ionic so you can take a look at the specs and differences:

The Firmware Version 27.32.4.19 will be release soon, you can take a look at the details on this article

See you around!

What about the SpO2 sensor getting used at last? The hands on review of the Versa on techadvisor seemed to mention the inclusion of it being quite a big thing saying what it can do. Is it being activated or are you getting the tech media to go on about it to increase interest yet maintain plausible deniability like you did with the Ionic?

This is in line with my questions as well, I wonder if the developer community will be more robust with the Versa vs the Ionic. I fear the Ionic will get less support due to a smaller user base. In this way the Versa could have more "features."

Definitely unlikely. The 2 devices differ only in the screen size and it's definitely easy to develop apps and clockfaces for both of them. Developers would be very shortsighted to leave out one of the 2 devices for just a little effort more.
