So I bought the ionic thinking it was the watch for me but so far I actually can’t stand it. I learnt recently that Fitbit refuses to send non gps activities to strava for my training log. This is something all garmin products do with no issues. Second issue was in the gym doing a workout. Trying to do interval work in heart rate zones but it appears the ionic is unable to function if your sweating and moving your arms even slightly. 3rd reason and this one really pissed me off was that it refused to find my location or use gps to track my run. In fact the data my watch was producing during my run was so laughable and inaccurate that I felt as though Fitbit had stolen from me in selling me a gps watch and activity tracker as I now look at my ionic as nothing more than a cheap watch I could have spent less than a tenner on for what good it actually does. I will be attempting to get a refund ASAP. I have given this watch a couple of months because I like the look and feel of it as well as the displays but honestly this watch will be little more than a paperweight on a desk or in a draw because it has failed to complete the simplest of tasks

I liked my Fitbit Ionic for the 3 years I had it as a fitness watch. Then it died a sudden death.
