Put my Ionic on as I always do in the morning. Battery was at 70ish percent. Got to work and had accumulated around 3000 steps or so. I then looked at my watch for the time and noticed the screen was black and that the green lights on the back were off. Tried all the reset steps that I knew of and when I got home I put it on the charger and still nothing. Sorry this post is so long first time using the community. Thanks
Best AnswerYou may be out of luck, but you could try the following:
1. Hold the left and bottom right button for 5 seconds then let go (device reset).
If that doesn't work:
2. Hold all three buttons. After 10s, release just the bottom right. After 10s release the other buttons (left and top right).
If that doesn't work, call Fitbit support.
Best AnswerI called support and nothing worked. Since my device is outside the warranty window, the best they could do is offer a discount on a new tracker. I won’t be taking this up since their devices have always died right outside the warranty window.
Best AnswerNot what I was hoping to hear. I have actually been looking to purchase a Garmin and give the Ionic to my son who is about to start running cross country. Maybe I’ll try reaching out to them and see what they have to say. Thanks!
Best AnswerWell I contacted Fitbit as well and got the same response no warranty and offered a discount towards another watch. Oh well. Thanks for the help!
