Is the Fitbit Ionic still a decent watch?

My dad gave me this Ionic which is about 3 years old now and it feels pretty nice? But I've heard of it being recalled and all that.

For me it does the job and it tracks my sleep pattern, I don't know how accurate, I've yet to try for a few more days.

The boxy look is decent, it's not as cornered as I thought it would be. The battery lasts be about 3-5 days depending if I use the apps.
