Hi, I updated my ionic a few days ago, the update went in fine but since it updated it isn't counting steps right the heart rate is wrong & it's not counting floors either! So basically it's turned my fitness tracker into just a watch! I've tried resetting it several times I've shut it down for an hour & turned it back on, it charges fine but that's about all it does, really not happy as this unit has been replaced about 3 times as things keep going wrong with it, nothing will get done as it's out of warranty (even tho if the warranty was replaced with the unit it would still be under warranty but apparently fitbit don't seem to extend the warranty when they replace an item! ) Any insight would be appreciated before I give up & chuck it in the bin!

but apparently fitbit don't seem to extend the warranty when they replace an item!
They don't. It's EXTREMELY unusual for a warranty replaced product NOT to be warranted for a full warranty period on replacement.
The first though that enters my mind is that Fitbit are not confident in the longevity of the product they sell.
A company needs to stand by their product(s).
