When is LG G5 going to be compatible with ionic??? I just bought my watch. I read reviews, and not once did I see a thing about these compatibility issues! The G5 has been out for way over a year! What is the deal here??

The deal is Fitbit add phones to the list when they become compatible . They dont say in advance whatis being worked on or give projected time frames. Annoying when you are waiting, but that s how they work. The only thing you can really do is to go and vote on THIS Feature Suggestion.

I have the LG G5 and my ionic works just fine with it.

I just purchased my Ionic today. Unfortunately I cannot get it to sync to my LG G5. Tried the work around.  No one should have difficulties at this price point. I will return it tomorrow if I cannot get it to sync.

Weird. It worked first time with my Att G5 and my wife's Tmo G5.

Also works perfectly with my LG G6 which isn't on the list either. Maybe you have a faulty Ionic?
