So I received my Fitbit on Monday, and set it up and it was working great. Even tracked my first workout session with it, and everything logged just fine.
On Tuesday, I carried on, and all was logging. On Wednesday, I realised all my log on the app were gone. Now I thought it was just not syncing, so I synced it and nothing came back. I left it, thinking maybe it was a once off glitch.
Now today (Thursday), I see all my data missing for Wednesday as well! Monday's data is there, Tuesday's data is gone, Wednesday's data is gone...
So I started searching. I eventually came across https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-HR/fitbit-not-keeping-track-of-previous-days-data/td-p/118391... where I followed the instructions to re-pair my device with my phone (https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1873#replace) and this brought back Wednesday's data. Tuesday's data is still missing! Please help! Will this happen everyday, must I re-pair it daily?

Hi @HeinrichIonic,
Not sure what happened there, but I wouldn't expect it to reoccur. Sometimes by performing multiple manual syncs the missing data will appear, or by restarting the tracker (hold bottom right and left buttons 10sec till logo appears). The unpairing isn't something you'd have to do typically, certainly not daily. I do perform a restart on my Ionic once a day, as it seems to keep things running smoothly.
The tracker holds up to 7 days of by-the-minute data, and 30 days of daily data. So if the data is still on the tracker, you've got plenty of time for it to sort itself out. Hope this helps.

Hi WavyDavey
After the un-pair/re-pair, everything has been working fine since.
I haven't had to restart it, haven't had to do anything and it has worked fine ever since.
Thanks for the feedback!

My ionic hadn't sync since Saturday so i removed the watch from the app. Got it to pair up with the app again and only the last day's data sync up. The rest were lost. What happened to holding 7 days of data?
