Maps not same

So my Fitbit app is doing the weirdest thing. Today I went on a 8 mile run in New Smyrna Beach Florida. It tracked it. when I initially open the Fitbit app hit the exercise icon (exercise goal)  it shows me a map of previous runs down south in Pembroke Pines Florida. Then if I hit that map it actually shows me the correct one. Why would it post old map runs under the exercise section? I looked through it and actually been doing this for awhile now.  I wish I knew how to post a screen shot to show . Anyone have any ideas?

@Dhill124 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for sharing the situation you are experiencing while checking the exercise details on the app.

When you open up the "Track Exercise" tile you should see a list of your previously tracked exercises (activity history). When you open them it should show the details. Your newest exercise log should show there too with its corresponding map.

To load a screen shot please use the "Photo" option on the post's box when typing your reply:

That way, I can take a deeper look at it. You could also try the following if you keep experiencing the same:

  • Log out from the Fitbit app.
  • Reboot your phone.
  • Log back in to the Fitbit app.

Also, please feel free to update your Ionic to its latest OS version (OS 2.1). Check this post for more details.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted! Smiley Happy

@Dhill124 Thanks for your reply and for sharing those screen shots, very helpful! Yes, this is very weird! Did you tried to log out from the app and reboot your phone?

Well, I'm glad to hear that it is logging correctly now after updating. Hopefully, it will continue to perform like that. Please keep an eye on it and if it happens again, let me know!

In the meanwhile, take a look at the Discussions Board as you will find a lot of interesting things there. Feel free to post on any thread you want. If you are looking for Fitbit friends to compete with on challenges, check this thread to add some!

I am experiencing the same issue. I has happen a few times before also. Map tile showing in exercise screen is from an old run, but when I click on that exercise to view more details the correct map log shows. Right now on my phone in the exercise section the last few runs show the same map from a older run.

@Dhill124 @cdhunter I hope you're doing well! Thanks for trying the steps above to sort this out.

What type/model of phone number are you using? Is it showing under the list of compatible devices

Please try uninstalling the app and then re installing it. That could help you out with this too.

Try this out and let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy
