Hello, I have had my ICONIC Fitbit for a year now more or less. When I bought it and I created my account I could login using my gmail account both on an explorer as on the App on my Android. However, now with changing my phone and installing the Fitbit App I could not log in via Gmail anymore. I thought if I would use my gmail email address I would restore all my data and friends from my Fitbit account. However, this created a new account with 0 data and 0 friends. I would like to know how I can get my data from my account logging in via Gmail (in a web browser this is still possible and all data/friends are still there) and my now new email login merged. I just want to get my old data and friends back in my new App.

Hi, @RPieter, you should be able to log in on your new phone using your usual email address, just as you did on your old phone and as you do on the web browser.
It sounds like when you tried to log in you chose "join Fitbit" rather than "log in". I would suggest logging out of the app and then on the home screen of the app chose "log in" and then log in using your gmail address and usual password. All your data and friends will then be available on the app on your new phone.

Hi Julia,
Thanks for your quick reply. The problem is that my email address is the gmail address that was used when I first signed up by clicking the 'log in via gmail' button. So both accounts have the same email address, but of course different passwords. When I try to log in via my gmail password using my gmail address it says wrong password.
