Mileage Notifications

Every time I run, I have to reset the mileage notifications from every 0.5 miles to every 1.0 miles.  I find that to be super annoying.  There has to be a way of fixing that.  Online support could not help me.  I've tried everything from resetting the Fitbit to deleting running from the shortcuts then adding it back.  I'm ready to switch to Garmin or Apple.

@LongDistanceRun: I had the same problem for several months and then another person recommended I use the phone app to change the cue from .5 to 1.0 miles. It worked.

Hopefully the app looks the same for you (I use the ios version). But go to Ionic settings; exercise shortcuts; Run. At the bottom there's the scrolling 'thing' to change distance. After I set it to 1.0 mile it's 'held' for weeks.

@LongDistanceRun

I searched back in my posting history and found the actual advice I had followed that succeeded (finally) in changing my cue from .5 to 1.0

Here's a jpg I snapped of it (I wasn't sure how to quote from one post to another thread):

Give it a try. If it works thank @jwebb72

@LongDistanceRun here is a direct link to the original workaround:

Change the setting using a web browser.

I am in the Dashboard and I don't see how to find exercise cues.  Can you please guide me on where to start looking.

Thanks

@rrfit2993 A warm welcome to the Community. Thanks for letting me know that you're seeing this on the online Dashboard.

Please confirm you're doing the following troubleshooting to set the exercise cues:

- Go to your online Dashboard

- Click on Settings > Choose the Ionic icon

- Scroll down until you see "Exercise cues"

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
