Miles and Celsius

I heard the only way for the ionic to show a Celsius temperature unit ( in the weather app) is to to chose kilometres as a unit of distance . However I always use Miles as my main measurement unit.

is there a way I can get Celsius but using Miles as a measure of distance - can this combination be done ?

thanks

There's no seperate setting do this, the watch language / units are based on the settings in the profile settings.

This is not a good situation to be in as for nearly 4 decades I have worked in miles and centigrade so I think as a new Fitbit user this is a real problem for me and hope it’s fixed very soon!

I have been wanting it to be fixed since the ionic came out 😄

I have downloaded an app that you can manually change the temperature to Celsius without switching the distance to km.  It's called WeatherCast by Chris Spooner. It's a shame Fitbit haven't done anything on their default weather app for us UK customers.

I got annoyed and sent an email to support and basically they haven’t said yes or no but this is the important part of the email

At this point, this feature change is not available, however rest assured our engineer department takes into account the posts in our Feature Suggestion Forum in order to make the Fitbit experience more pleasant.

Do you you think my saying my old Samsung watch could do it made an impression?
