I have both the Ionic and the Surge.  I put both on today and the Surge is over 800 steps ahead of the Ionic.  Why

Because they’re two different devices in two different places responding to two different input movements using two different software builds.

 

It really is a lot to ask two dissimilar sensors to come up with the same results even if they’re very closely located. Did you have them on the same or or different arms, for example?
