Moving off a screen

I am on a recent activity screen and I cannot navigate away from the screen. I have tried swiping in every direction and I pushed the buttons on the right side and they just temporarily move me off the screen but I immediately go back to the same screen. I cannot get to the clock screen. What am I messing here?

Try restarting by holding in the left and bottom right buttons until the fitbit logo appears. I'm not sure what you're describing, but a fresh boot should always take you to the clock screen.

Thanks for the feedback. I did finally figure this out and once I rebooted the watch I was able to navigate normally.
