Howdy...so I'm new to ionic but have noticed with my treadmill walks it registered them at 2.2mph but I have my treadmill set to 4.0mph at the very least. Is this possible? Or maybe a silly question and I'm lacking common sense lol

It's great to have you here @giggalz! Fitbit devices do not count the elevation gains simulated from a StairMaster, inclined treadmill, or other stationary exercise equipment. Your device uses changes in barometric pressure to detect elevation change, and therefore requires that you physically change elevation in order to properly record floors.

Hope this helps!

You have to set your stride-length in your profile, but I have had problems for years with fitbit and treadmills

yea --in your profile you have to set your stride length for running and walking. It comes close when you do that but the distance will always be off. I have used fitbit products for 5 or so years and just yesterday I gave up, returned the Ionic and went with a Garmin. If you are a semi-serious fitness buff, Garmin's dashboard and metrics and watches  are way better than fitbit's. If you just want to count steps and sleep than fitbit is good. Anyway JMO and good luck.
