I've been trying to set up the ionic for music control, and it keeps telling me to check my phone for bluetooth. Tried many times, but could not.
I've been told to restart the watch. Holding left button won't reset, does nothing. Found that I can reset from setting-about. Still nothing.
I've done software updates on both phone and watch, nothing.
So, since then given up that feature. Tried to upload music straight to the watch. Watch won't connect to app on my laptop. Can't transfer music to it. I've restarted the app, nothing.
I then tried a factory reset on the watch. Now stuck on the initial Fitbit logo, and won't initiate to setup.
What to do now? Is my Ionic defective?

Since your Ionic isn't set up to your account, please try this procedure. If you're able to set it up, please confirm you tried this procedure to transfer music.
Regarding your music control, make sure you're doing this procedure to control your music from your Ionic.

Thanks for replying. But since the factory reset my ionic is stuck on the logo sreen saying to download Fitbit app to get started.
Nothing else happens.
I've uninstalled my Fitbit app and reinstalled it but still won't connect. My bluetooth is on but won't find the ionic.
I don't know what else to do.
Does Fitbit have a store where I can get some assistance?

How do I get some help? Am I at a loss? Should I be looking for a new fitness watch?
This ionic lasted me less than a year, that's a very expensive endeavor.
