For the last few months it has been near impossible to do something I used to be able to do, and something my friends with Apple Watches can easily do. I used to be able to do it, though it was a complicated process...
Control audio playing on my phone through Bluetooth Headphones or a Bluetooth speaker using my Ionic.
- Ionic (classic) Bluetooth connection frequently drops.
- Phone shows green and connected, yet I cannot see audio controls.
- On the rare chance i get audio controls to work, as soon as I turn on my bluetooth headphones, it is gone.
There is no reason why this should be hard. Luddites with Apple Watches do it with ease. It's bad enough Spotify isn't even supported, but to lack this basic functionality is beyond me. Fix the software and make the bluetooth work easily like it does on virtually every other device I own

@TacoBellionaire I hope you're doing well! Thanks for sharing the experience you have had with Ionic and audio control.
Please try the following steps:
-
Turn on headphones
-
The phone detects and connects headphones
-
Start music player on the phone
-
Swipe right
-
Controls connect to phone and I can control music.
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes!
