My Ionic won't turn on

My ionic won't turn on.  It worked all day yesterday while I was at work and up until the last time I know of around 5;30 last night, as my husband had messaged me on my way home and I was alerted through my fitbit ionic.  Later that night I noticed I hadn't received any notifications lately, even for facebook, so I looked at it and it was a black screen, so I tried to reboot it by holding down the 3 buttons until I saw the fitbit symbol, but no symbol appeared, just black screen.  So I put it on the charger thinking, well maybe for some reason it needs to be charged.  I charge it every other night, I never sleep in it as it wakes me up through the night if i get a work email or something,  and the charger i have is less than a month old.  This morning i tried to turn it on again and it still won't come on.  This is very frustrating, as this is a very expensive product that my husband got me for Christmas.   I love my ionic and I just want a working product.  How can this be resolved?

Same situation one month ago.  Still searching for a solution. When I contacted FitBit to see if there was a fix to this problem all I received was confirmation our warranty had expired and was advised it was my lucky day.  FitBit had a 40% off discount code for a new Ionic.  Really?!!  I just want the essentially new one we have to work.  Does Fitbit really think I’m going to pay 60% for another Ionic, based on our experience of product failure?  Even though I asked the Fitbit Customer Service Agent to go ahead and email me the discount I still have not received it.  Shocker.  I also asked the agent to notify Fitbit of this product failure in case this becomes an issue with their product (I assumed they would want to know) and was told that wasn’t an option.  Coincidence our Ionic went black one month outside warranty?  I think not.  Starting to think it might be a marketing strategy.  Sell a high priced item with a one year warranty.  Product works great for 13 months and assume the customer will be so impressed they will spend another 60-100% on the same product after it fails.  Based on our experience how can FitBit expect us to be repeat customers?  Because of the money spent on this device we haven’t given up on our search for a solution.  I hope you are able to find one, too.  I don’t have the voice Rush Limbaugh has to get the attention of FitBit when his FitBit failed, but maybe there is someone at FitBit who will listen and care enough to correct this Ionic product failure and share the fix with their customers.
