I just received my new ionic. Plugged in to charge about 2.5 hours ago but it doesn't respond to anything, touching the screen or pressing any buttons. It seems dead. I am unable to do a reset either. Anyone had an experience like this. What else can I try?
Best AnswerIf it helps you I just bought an Ionic and when I plugged the usb charge cable into my iPhone charger it was no go, an iPad charger will work though. It has to do with the wattage output of each charger 5 for iPhone 10 for iPad.
Good luck
Best AnswerThank you for responding, after your message I tried every charger I have and nothing works. I have iPad, iPhone and several multi chargers. It might be a factory problem, it never responded to anything. It's been charging now for 4 hours. I sent a message to Fitbit and see what they say. I think it may have to be replaced.
Best AnswerYeah it doesn't sound good. At least it's a new one so a replacement will be no problem.
I have bought three in the last week for myself, wife and daughter all are second hand and after reading all the issues on this forum I am a wee bit nervous. Two are here and all is good so far, I have an Adidas version on the way from the states for myself. Wish me luck and I hope your problem is resolved quickly.
