My new ionic does count my steps when I walk. question: when I run is the stepcount cumulative so at the end of the day I have a walk/run total?

yes. every tracker will give you the sum total of all steps you have taken regardless of activity. To see a breakdown, go into the daily activity in the app and it will break it down for you.

And you can also set a daily goal for steps, and when you reach it each day, the fitbit will congratulate you.

Work out...eat... sleep...repeat!
