Sync is crap

Music upload is crap

Between the two above, I have come to understand how people might contemplate suicide.

Can only do limited stuff when in exercise mode

Can't change recorded parameters for an exercise. WTF is pace? I just want to know how fast I'm running or walking. How do I change that? I have to do everything as bike ride.

I want a horse riding exercise. Where are all the 3rd party exercises and apps?

No phone answer.

Should be able to take calls on a connected Bluetooth device. Fitbit just has to proxy the Bluetooth device

When I'm in Fitbit or other apps/functions that don't use the swipe back for something else, I want swipe back (L to R) to be the same as left button press. Pressing buttons wears them out.

Today, when I flip up (screen wake),  I get the power bar / power % and not my clock.  How did I get here? This is not what I want and when I do want it, when I'm charging, its rarely seen. That's all I want to see when I'm charging because the supplied power cord is way too short to be doing anything else.
Had to reset to fix above. If you have a PIN, you must enter that to see the charge bar for about a useless second then it goes to clock.

Speaking of clocks. There is only two analogue ones and one of them is chopped. The only good one shows the date (& time) and nothing else.  One with at least another selectable parameter would be good. How do I get others?

No support for external sensors. How do cyclists go without a cadence recorder? My horse, the one of us doing the work and who's HR matters, doesn't have a wrist, I need to be able to use an external monitor.

Notifications stopped. I had to turn them off and back on. Reminds me of Windows 3.x.

Notifications have stopped again. This time the apps selected to notify have been forgotten.

I couldn't sync for three days. During that time I sometimes I got notifications, so communication was at least sometimes possible. If I re-paired the BT, I had to reset the watch to get it to show up in the scan. Then it paired but would not sync. An upgrade from fitbit 2.60 to 2.60.1 on the phone solved the re-sync. It looks like all data was retained. Until next time.

I've had frustrating trouble getting the power cord to work, its so touchy.  I eventually worked out the tiny oval channel around the contacts is filled up with gunk.  Of course it is, I'm an active, hands on person.
I have a Galaxy A5 2017, android 7.0, samsung 8.1
I'm not looking for answers, this is just FYI. Despite all that, I'm generally happy and look forward to some improvements.

Thanks for sharing your impressions. I'll try to answer the questions you did ask above:

I believe pace is a measurement of rate of motion, or speed.

I would log walking with the Walk or Run app under Exercise, instead of Biking. You may need to add those through the app if they're not showing up on the watch.

You can actually make a watch face for yourself.  Do a search of Fitbit Studio to learn how.
