Anyone has issue with the charging cable for Fitbit Ionic? Sometimes when charging the Ionic, it will indicate that the power is insufficient and the charging stops. I had to adjust the position of the watch and find that sweet spot to charge the Ionic.
I find the charging cable for the Ionic to be a bit flimsy compared to the cable for Versa 2. Can there be a more sturdy or better design for the Ionic Charging cable? Something similar to the charging cable of Versa 2 or Versa 3 would be good. In fact, Fitbit should try to standardise the charging cable across their various models.

@yandrew6 Yes, I have. The Ionic cable can be temperamental, I know what you mean by the sweet spot, as it has to sit just right. I'm presently using an aftermarket cable that appears to be slightly better-constructed, as was frustrated with intermittent charging. I prefer Fitbit branded cables and have several trackers, but on the Ionic specifically, the third one is working better. It's also possible your connection could be improved by cleaning the battery contacts on the back of your tracker with 99% isopropyl, I've used this to recover presumed dead trackers before. I wouldn't use a third-party cable on an in-warranty tracker, as we don't know what quality-control goes into aftermarket equipment, but if something's not working, it's worth fixing 🙂 Cheers!
