It sounds like you did a factory reset to your ionic. Was there a specific reason this was done?
There is no undo option and the Ionic will need to be setup as if it was just purchased.
Through the Fitbit app, choose setup a new device.
Now choose the ionic, you may get a warning about having an ironic connected. Press continue. The factory reset removed the ionic but the app doesn't realize it yet.
Now follow the same steps as when the ionic was purchased.
