I just replaced my broken Ionic.

Do I need to delete the Fitbit Ap on my phone from the first Ionic to set up my new one?

Not at all.  Go to the App and click on your Account Icon (upper right corner and looks like a page) and then click on Set Up a Device.  Follow instructions from there.  At one point, you will be asked whether you are adding a new device or replacing an old one.  Good Luck!
