No GPS map after tracking activity

My GPS is connecting when I go hiking or running nut no maps is shown when I sync with my phone. I used to see maps in the past. Recently I changed my phone (used Galaxy note 8 before) to Galaxy note 20. Is it possible that I cant see maps because of changing to a new phone? What can I do so that I can be able to see the maps after hiking or running?

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand your concern and recommend trying the following:

1. Log out of the app.
2. Force quit the app.
3. Restart your phone and your device. 
4. Log into the Fitbit app.
