Hey everyone,

Update here. #nearly there. The dev work is done. We just need the permission from the card providers (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc) to release. This has taken additional time for reasons generally beyond Fitbit control. Releasing a product that involves capturing and managing financial data is definitely something that needs to be done right.

Sorry this has taken so long! We're almost there.

Note that Fitbit Pay is not yet available on Windows Phones. This feature is coming soon and you can read more about Fitbit Pay here.

Any idea when this will be added? This feature is a perfect compliment to my Alcatel IDOL 4S lacking NFC.

Thanks for continuing to support Windows OS.

Its 4 months since you have mentioned that. Do you have a road map for this feature?

@TristanFitbit  posted here that the wallet was in the final stages of certification with the card providers and that single card would be supported initially and multi-card following quickly afterwards.

However, that was 5 weeks ago and there is still no sign of it 😞

As a developer I appreciate things take longer than expected sometimes but no news is very frustrating.

This was one of the reasons I purchased the Ionic so to not have this functionality is annoying to say the least - I would jump up and down about it but then support for UK card providers is equally, if not more shocking and I'm not going to open an account with either of the 2 banks that Fitbit does support!!

ok, I fixed it myself by logging into an android phone with fitbit app and then syncing.  Then it worked on my watch.

And then...a month later I finally gave in and bought an android phone of my own.

Bye Bye Windows phone, six years... it was a good ride.

Hey there,

Just double checking with the Wallet app for Windows Phone that it will also be able to unlock a Locked Ionic? Had a crappy situation when I had to use my wife's Android (again) to try and unlock my Ionic (water from swimming locked it I think when I took it off for a while afterwards while in my bag). I accidentally applied a pin to her phone and she wasn't able to use her phone for the whole day. Sorted that issue once I got home (long story). She wasn't happy. But I'm still alive so all good.

Cheers

Ben

Hello everyone,

Good news time! Windows 10 build 2.30 is going live later today (I'm submitting it to the store right now). This release includes support for Fitbit Pay. This will be single card support to start, but multi-card should be following soon!

Thank you everyone for bearing with us as we worked to get this feature certified and ready to release!

Let us know if you have any issues. 🙂

Downloaded. Set up. And ready for use!!

Thanks Fitbit for continuing to support a "dead" platform. One which i don't plan to stop using. Windows 10 is great and works for me. I bought an extra IDOL 4S just in case my current one get's dropped in the toilet.

Please continue to support the Windows platform in whatever form it takes...  Andromeda.

THANKS!!

Thank you for finally making my Ionic with W10 complete for my usage.  Installed with OS 2.0 this evening and while I haven't yet actually field tested, looking good.

Hey FitBit team,

Just wanted to say thanks. The new Fitbit Windows Phone build fixed my locked watch problem in about 10 seconds. Awesome stuff. Thank you so much for continuing to invest in the W10 Phone App. Really appreciated.

Thanks and regards

Ben
