No notifications on ionic after turning on driving mode

I checked to turn on driving mode on my ionic and now can't receive texts on my device. It hasn't let me receive any since checking it and now I can't figure out how to turn it off. Someone please help so I do not have to take it and get it fixed. I can get calls just not notifications

As far as I know the Ionic doesn't have a driving mode. How did you activate the feature you mention? Was it a 3rd party app?

As far as not receiving the notifications, have you tried long pressing the left button, swiping from the right side of the screen to the left and then making sure under notifications its set to on?

It popped up when I had to factory reset it for other issues. I checked yes
before I even realized it. I've tried factory resetting it again and still
nothing

Unless your giving the ionic go somebody else, a factory reset is almost never required. 

However after a factory reset has been done, the tracker will need to be setup as a replacement device. The factory reset removes the tracker from your Fitbit account.

I finally got it fixed by deleting my profile and then redoing it on the
Fitbit app.
