I've had my fitbit ionic for 2 years and intermittently have had issues not receiving notifications on the watch. Now, it has been a week and no notifications. I've tried everything and still nothing. Any advice?
I've reinstalled the app, rebooted watch, reconnected bluetooth, turned notifications on/off and restarted phone, and installed most recent update. So frustrating.

Sorry @mbragazzi but when asking about an issue with the phone, it is best to also include the phone type.
I assume that the DND setting on the ionic has already been checked. Swipe down and check the quick settings.

My apologies: I have a Samsung Galaxy 9 (S9). I dont have "do not disturb" checked. All of my settings remain the same before and after this issue--but I double checked everything just to be sure.
I'm at a loss. I'm hoping it will magically start working again 🙂

The first thing i would try is to log out of the app, when logging in fitbit should request permissions of which you want to agree to.
If the app doesn't request permissions then go to the notification settings and tap on the 3 dots in the upper right. Disable notification and re-enable.
Under the Ionic settings, enable always connected.
Now go to the phones settings, apps, fitbit, Battery ( maybe power), enable allow background and disable power management.
Under phone settings, notification, make sure it notifications are enabled for fitbit.
If notifications get working, you may then try enabling power management for the fitbit app.
