Not Able to Transfer Music on Ionic

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a One Plus 5T that I am trying to connect to my Fitbit Ionic. I already went through the steps in the fitbit app and the process went through successfully but when I read that google music was not compatible with fitbit, I read that I can use the bluetooth classic mode. When I do the steps through both the watch and the phone, the phone recognizes the fitbit ionic but the ionic does not find the phone and so I cant use the music availability. Help?

@Issacalv Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for your question regarding the music transfer option for Ionic.

In this case, I believe Ionic is not recognizing your phone as that model is not a compatible device. This may be causing this.

The developer team is aware of the need to add new devices to the list of compatible devices. There are some users who can transfer music with non-compatible devices. If your phone meets the requirement of Minimum Supported OS (Android 4.4 KitKat), you can try the tips on this help article.

Note that we don't guarantee that the synchronization would be will be successful as we are still testing on this phone model.

Also, note that you can use other music apps on Ionic:

Hope this helps. Keep me posted! Smiley Happy
