My phone has been playing up the last 3-4 days and when I wake up the time is 30-40 minutes slow. But today no matter what I try, resetting my watch, switching of my Bluetooth off and back on again it can't find my ionic when searching with the Bluetooth. Even though my watch is 5 cm from my phone. I have tried reloading the watch back on with my phone but I lost all my data. So I am thinking about returning it as I only bought it 3 months ago. And don't think all these problems should be happening

What phone are you using?
Your data that is already in your account will not be lost. Did you accidently log into the wrong account, or create a new account when you tried to set up again? That is what has usually happened when all your data appears to be gone.
Try the troubleshooting ideas is THIS Help Article on syncing problems.

Which Huawei phone? Though in general Huawei phones dont work well with fitbits, but some are better than others.
Try a factory reset of your Ionic and see if that gets it going
FACTORY RESET USING BUTTONS
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.
If the device turns on, please go back to the Fitbit app and setup your device back to your account with these steps. Make sure your watch is plugged into a wall plug or a computer, next to the router and that there are no other trackers or devices with Bluetooth on nearby when setting up. Please log into your account, go to account on the upper right corner, there look for "setup a device" and tap on it. Follow the instructions on the screen and let the watch charge for 2 hours.

I’ve had 3 replacements and each time it’s a new issue. The latest replacement has this Bluetooth issue. I’ve factory reset the ionic and lost my data since the 10th. After the factory reset the ionic worked correctly for 1 day and then is back with the issue. I’m actually fed up talking to customer service. They say I cannot even return because I’m almost reaching 1 yr... I’ve never been able to successfully use the Fitbit ionic. I want some proper help to either resolve the issue one and for all or to be able to return the device and get my money back.

Thanks for your reply Paul. I bought a Fitbit coz we were happy with my wife’s Fitbit, but this experience with the Ionic is definitely pushing me to look at other brand.im going to give another try. Are there any brick and mortar stores where you took yours? Or was it again through customer service? I may contact the customer service one last time...

I'm glad to hear that you're back on track @Paulaky2878! Happy to hear that you got a replacement.
I have taken the time to review your support case and it seems that you also got a replacement @ManishTotloor. Please keep an eye on your inbox for updates on your replacement status. If you have additional questions, please ping me out!
Hey there @Sdhawan, thanks for jumping in here! I was wondering if you're still having difficulties with your Ionic? If so, please go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and remove the tracker. In the list of Bluetooth devices you'll see the Ionic and next to it, this symbol "!". Hit the symbol and it will take you to the next step, once you're there select the option that says "Forget this device" for iOS and "Unpair" for Android.
Once you've made sure about that, go back to the Fitbit app, go to the "Account" option in the upper right corner and select "Set up a Device". This should start the setup process for your device.
Thanks for your help @NellyG!
I'll be around guys!

About two days ago my fb started acting up. The most immediate issue is it doesn’t keep proper time - 15 to 20 minutes slow making me late for some appointments. But now it doesn’t sync with the app at all. I’ve tried everything listed twice and it will connect once and then just spend time “looking”. It an ionic I purchased last April. Any other advice?
