Also, when was the first time you experienced this? Are you experiencing difficulties with both text and phone notifications or just with one type? I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are correctly configured and to try some troubleshooting steps.

I have the same issue. After uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting the phone, resetting the Bluetooth, powering off and restarting the device, I STILL can't get this junk to work. It used to work - now it's a useless cheesy "wristwatch". Maybe it's time for another brand...
