Not receiving notifications on Ionic

Fitbit notifications are not showing & I've tried the following: 

  • Restarted the device, allows notifications to work until the next morning
  • Factory reset the device, & deleted the device from my account, which allows the notifications to start coming through until the next morning 

Is it normal to have to restart the device every day in order to get notifications?

No, that is not normal. 

Is the device you are trying to sync to a supported device?

It is a supported device, iphone x and ionic

@cph2688 Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for taking the time to post the situation you are experiencing with your Ionic. Thanks for trying all of those steps in order to sort this out and for sharing all of those details. 

 

Please tap and hold the left button on your watch to access the Quick Settings menu. Check if notifications are enabled there.

 

If they are and still no notifications are being received; please try setting them up once again. Feel free to follow all of the steps shown on this helpful article in order to sort this out.

Hi Santi, 

The reset worked until the end of the day. 

As soon as I woke up the notifications stopped coming.
