Not receiving text notifications

Some days ago I noticed my fitbit was no longer receiving SMS messages received at my phone. The voice call notifications are not impacted. I see them without any issues. I reviewed all settings on my phone (Android notification for fitbit app), fitbit app itself and watch. Everything is configured properly.  I have disconnected the Bluetooth and reconnected it to test. Nothing. The fact that the calls are showing up demonstrate that the bluetooth connectivity is fine. Any ideas?

Seems odd that you're not receiving text notifications on your Android mobile device, even more if you receive phone calls notifications with any difficulty, thanks for troubleshooting your device prior to posting. To better assist you with this situation, can you please let me know which Android device you're currently using? I'd like to make sure that it's part of our list of compatible devices. Also, if you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information related to the notifications feature here to check if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the text notifications to come through. Also, move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

Hello Ricardo,
I had followed all steps and checked several postings submitted by other people. After several phone and watch restarts, it has worked again. I did not change any configuration, just restarted my watch, phone Bluetooth and phone. I suspect it might have something to do with some update received by my phone but I agree that receiving the notifications for calls and not SMS messages doesn't make sense. Thanks!
