@Aguilera Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for updating your Ionic to its latest version. Are you still experiencing the same syncing situation today?
If you are, I'd recommend trying the following:
This should definitely help you out with this. Please check this helpful article for more details about this.
Try that out and let me know how it goes!

Yes I recommend restarting the watch (holding down on the first button and the bottom button. Restart your phone or turn bluetooth on and off.😀

Thank you for the welcome and for answering my topic. Yes I got it to sync again I restarted my watch the video nay thing was that the screen turned black afterwards and drained my battery. A quick charge and now it's working great... thank you once again.

I realize this is the accepted solution but are you telling me I need to restart my app and device and reboot my phone a couple of times a day to keep this syncing? Why? Why doesn't it just do continuous syncing throughout the day like all of my other Fitbit devices before this one? It's very annoying and inconvenient. I'm disappointed every time I open the app to check my stats and it says my last sync was 2, 3, 4 hours ago!

I've been having the same issue since the last update. Its happening several times a day. Are you looking into this as its making the watch not fit for purpose! I rarely ever had this issue before the update.

Hello yes I was having the same problem well my device won't sync right away I just swipe my screen down on my fones app and it syncs it. No need to restart the fone or device all the time. Hope it works for you.

On my ionic it won't sync right away as soon as I open my app but I just swipe my screen down on my fones app and it syncs it...when I did the update it wouldn't do it at all not even swiping the screen just restarted my watch and it worked ..

Ok, at some point in time is Fitbit going to address and fix this syncing problem with the Ionic? Every day I have to go in and force stop my app, turn off blue tooth, and manually sync my ionic and Flex 2 to my account. I had a Surge prior to the Ionic and I never had to manually sync my Surge and my Flex 2, or prior to that my Flex. From reading the forum's here it seems that numerous people are having the same issue but Fitbit does not seem to want to fix the issue. I have the exact same phone I had when the Surge and Flex 2 were working flawlessly. I have done everything you state to fix the problem here on the help forums, just extremely irritated and tired of manually syncing every day and it is not like it sync quickly, most days I have to tell it to manually sync 4-5 times before it actually does and this is with wifi active. Nothing else is blue toothed to my phone so no interference there. I really like the Ionic itself and the Fitbit app helps me keep track of activity and as of now I don't use any other app for that purpose. However, if Fitbit does not see that it is worth their while to fix this issue that numerous people are having, I will have to find something else that is more user friendly and that actually works. All I want is my watch/tracker to work like Fitbit said they would when I spent the money for them.

Today I ran into synching issues. There was 2 Bluetooth connections active. I shut off the compatible version, and only left the Ionic named one, then restarted my phone.
Issue has not returned.

Yup, I have tried swiping down on my screen over and over and nothing happens. It just sits there and spins until I reboot my phone and/or restart my Fitbit device. I just checked - it's now 4pm EST here and it says it hasn't synced since 8am this morning! GRRRR

I have seen in this blog that turning off the switch for " All-Day Sync" and "always Connected" will help. So far I have been running for a day successfully, but I just checked though and these 2 setting were turned back on.
I hope I don't have to keep going through this hour long ritual of deleting all my BT devices from my phone, uninstalling the Fitbit app, resetting the watch and then installing it all back to get it to pair, and then reconnecting my other 2 BT devices. I have an RMA and am watching it for a week and then it goes back.
