On my second Ionic as the first had major light bleed on the screen. The first took ages to get notifications working, still not sure what actually made them start working. This second watch absolutely refuses to work with notifications. Have gone through all the trouble shooting, checked all settings in Fitbit app and Windows mobile. Reset bluetooth, re-paired device, reinstalled apps. No notifications at all...
Windows 10 mobile, latest build (also windows insider); Microsoft 950XL phone
Ionic on version 27.31.1.16
Worked in IT for over 20 years as technician, developer and now IT Manager
This really is bad that something can be sold with so many issues. Need urgent resolution or this will be going back for a refund...

Hi @SMoxon I wasn't aware that Fitbit had enabled notifications on W10 mobile for general release. I know that their list of supported devices shows the 950XL as not having notifications BUT I also recall mention of them testing the feature in light of Microsoft finally getting round to implement GATT server in their Bluetooth stack. (The delay was one of the reasons why I ditched my 950 a couple of years ago, though I thought the phone was superb.)
I'd suggest a look in the W10 forum as you might find the answer there. It's been a while since I've played with W10 mobile and I'm out of practice.

Thanks for the reply... I now have them working, not sure if they will stay working! I ended up doing a full reset on my phone and reinstalled everything; not a quick job, but afterwards they started working. Not really an acceptable solution and not sure if the problem occurred because of the phone or the Ionic, but something got something mixed up!
