Notifications Keep Stopping

Hello Community,

I got my ionic a few days ago and it has been working fine up until today. I turned off notifications during my workout this morning. About an hour after my workout I noticed that I was not getting any notifications. I turned "notifications during workout" back on and still no notifications. I turned the Ionic off and restarted and notifications kicked back in. However, they keep going out. Every couple hours or so I stop getting notifications and have to restart the Ionic. I should also mention that I have closed down the app and relaunched it several times as well. Any thoughts on what I should do?

I suppose that closing the app and re-opening it, you mean that you Force-Close the app?!

If not, then try force closing the app and restart the app again.

I have found that some changes are not always coming trough to both sides (installing watchface is, but changing settings not always).

In that case i always do the following:

1) restart the Ionic

2) If that does not help, Force-Close the App.

3) If that also does not help, reboot the phone.

Untill now, i allways had it going after these steps, sometimes after 1 and sometimes after 2.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried all but the reboot of the phone. I will try that next. The notifications were better today but now the reminders to move and alarms are not working consistently (I didn't get a single reminder to move today). Hopefully the phone reboot will help. Thanks again!

Also what i found out the hardway, is that you will not get any notification if you are out of range (no connection).

You also won't get a notification (vibrate) if you are disconnected or re-connected again.

Only a (very) few watchfaces do vibrate when disconnected or reconnected.

That is what i use now (Step Counter, nive and simple with bluetooth indication), so i know after a reconnect that i have to check my phone first.
