Hi there
I've just updated to the latest Fitbit firmware. I've finally gotten my Fitbit to receive notifications but now I have a weird problem.
I've requested notifications for calls, SMSs and calendar events. My phone was ringing (and the notification definitely went through to my Fitbit, as I felt it vibrate). Then when I went to the Fitbit and swiped for my notifications, it said "Nothing new here - you're all caught up". I would have expected to see the missed call listed there.
How do I go and see the notifications of the missed call (plus previous calendar events, SMSs etc)? I definitely didn't 'clear' them so shoudn't they be on there somewhere? (I'm sure I read something previously about it holding <30 notifications).
Would it relate to me having the clock showing as 'auto' not 'manual' and perhaps the notification appeared when I tilted my wrist at some point? Even so - it should still be listed on the device under the notifications somewhere shouldn't it?
Also - I'm still trying to wrap my head around why I had to switch off Bluetooth/Synchronising on my iPad in order to successfully receive Fitbit notifications from my Android phone. I'd thought we were synching to the account, not the device, so I can't quite wrap my head around why - in order to successfully receive notifications - my Fitbit Ionic can only be paired to one device, not both. So if anyone can explain that to me too - I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Aussiecleo, hope you're doing great today! Please note that with the new Fitbit OS update 2.1, Notifications are now removed from the Versa/Ionic once you open the conversation in your phone. This is expected behavior and not an issue.
On the other hand, since your Charge 2 receives notifications, your device has a Bluetooth "bond" with the phone or tablet that sends the notifications. This bond prevents the Fitbit device from syncing with another phone, tablet, or computer.
To quickly and temporarily disable the bond, turn off Bluetooth on your phone or tablet. You can turn it back on later to resume syncing.
If you no longer use notifications, remove the bond:
Also, if you have Bluetooth products like speakers, headsets, or car stereos paired to your phone along with your Fitbit device, you may have trouble using more than one at the same time.
If your phone is managing multiple Bluetooth connections simultaneously:
These interruptions are typically caused by operating system and Bluetooth limitations. It's also possible that an app on your phone is causing the issue.
Since you have an Android phone, try these steps:
The API used in these apps makes it difficult for Fitbit to communicate reliably with your phone. Ford provides a list of apps but note that other companies may use the API as well.
I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
