I just inherited a fitbit ionic from my dad and set up yesterday and I am not getting any texts or any notifications going through to the ionic. I synced my account and my phone is showing my bluetooth is connected to the ionic so I am confused and want to figure out what to do

My watch is still not getting notifications after doing all your troubleshooting ideas . What’s next ?? Do we have to switch to a Apple Watch ?
