When is Fitbit going to fix this known problem of notifications not showing on the Ionic? Spent an hour online chat a week ago only for the agent eventually telling me receiving notifications is a known problem. Should be better tech service for a top of the range device. Given my phone is an iPhone, I hope is has nothing to do with Fitbit's sale to Google. 😡

Good question Andrew. My own issue with notifications was that it worked for some time with calls and messages then went off. All efforts to solve the issue never worked.

Google opined that having other gaggets functioning alongside IONIC in notifications affects its effective uses. Wonder who can help out now

I had the same problem only to find out that the fitbit app lost permissions to messages, calendar and phone which means it couldn't see the messages to send the notification to my Ionic.  Check app settings, permissions and make sure Fitbit has connectivity to the apps that generate the notifications you want to receive.  I'll caveat this by letting you know I am running Android on a Samsung phone.
