Only a blank/grey screen, hr not working

I had my Fitbit ionic since launch day, it was working faithful until yesterday night.

 

what happened was this, originally the Fitbit did not light up when I was checking for time in the middle of my sleep, when to plug in to get it power up, found that it was on 10%, so slept for another 4 hours to wake up to start the day, now my screen is permanently in blank/grey screen state, I can’t see anything, but if I do a long press on the left button, I can feel the vibration. Also the green light (HR function) is no longer lit up. I tried to restart the watch without the ability to see anything on display by pressing and holding on to the  LEFT BUTTON and BOTTOM RIGHT. BUTTON. The screen flickered from grey to unlit a few times, eventually its back to the blank/grey screen. How do I resolve this?

 

latest update, my ionic is officially dead, can’t feel the vibration, or power on, tried charging it but it just won’t work.

Not sure what happened to my iconic  watch had 100% charge in morning was working all day , got home and nothing.... black screen no lights in back been on charger for 2 days still nothing any idea here

Sorry for the delayed reply. I would like you to try the tips mentioned in this article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? If your Ionic turns on when it's in the charger, please restart it to get it working.

Did you ever get a resolution?

My IONIC screen just decided to not wake up this morning.

Exact same problem you originally described.

Nope, they didn’t even bother considering to help me with the issue, neither did they offer to give a new one on discounted rate, I had since then bought a new one... even that one died last year which I had another tussle with them regarding the warranty

I noticed that you shared on another post that when you tried changing the clock face, the display turned on again. In this case, please restart it and fully charge it.

I have exactly same issue with my second Ionic ,after used my first for 6 months and Fitbit send me other Just  a watch ,now the warranty is out and support told me they can not replace it. I had charge 3 before now use that one . Now I have screen issue with this one  as well . Lines  on screen and hard to read screen and white backlit in screen is Instead  of  dark .Did all troubleshooting   but no result. 

I spend total of almost $600 on both watches 

and both are very bad . And your support is not helpful Why your warranty in Europe is 2 years but in Canada is just one year?

Never buy Fitbit products again.

Fitbit is not behind their product very disappointed.

If I leaved in Europe and the was covered for 2 years warranty but because is in Canada my warranty is not covered
This is discrimination. You are not behind you product. So many people have same issue like me. And picture is my second Fitbit charge 3 screan is badly readable lines and frozen even after hard reset and face change is getting worse.

Same thing happened to me got a garmin instead wifes fitbit went bad also . never again

Same here, no decent response from Fitbit.

Not sure I even want to take a risk with Sense. Same thing may happen within a year.

Bought a Garmin Instinct already to replace my fit bit and aint looking back 

better quality and very dependable compared to my fitbit
