Pairing Senso S-250

It has taken me over an hour trying to pair my Senso S-250 to my Fitbit Ionic.  Not easy and still not sure it works.  But it shows pairing which has been going for almost 15 minutes.  If Fitbit Flyer was not so expensive I may have bought those.  But why if you can find good headphones for less than half the price.

@SunsetRunner I'm not sure if your question is about the Ionic or the Flyer?

Guess i was making a general statement that pairing with something other than a Fitbit Flyer is difficult.  The Senso S-250 will not pair with my Ionic.  Anyone else have a pairing problem?

I found I can pair any headphone to the ionic.

Normally a user sets up the ionic to their Fitbit account through the Fitbit app. Then the Fitbit app pairs the Fitbit tracker to the phone, if it needs to be paired. The user is unable to pair the ionic directly to the phone .

Is your ionic setup yet?

Is your phone on the compatible list?

Not being on the list does not mean it will not work. it means the phone has not been completely tested.

Some phones have been found to work fine, but have trouble setting up a device .You might want to try a different device to set the ionic up with, if your device is not listed as compatible.

Thanks for the info Rich.  I'm not a super tech person but if I read your answer right I need to pair the headphones to my phone first.  Is that correct?  I did purchase a new phone to be compatible with the Ionic.  Works great now and syncs perfect.  So it sounds like most everything must be on my phone 1st.  Is that correct?  Phone bluetooth has the headphones on it now.  Will see if that works.  Thanks again and will let you know.

Ionic found the headphones and pairing has started.  Yesterday I got it as well without the phone and it kept pairing for over 3 hours.  Is that normal?  The phone took it right away.  Just frustrated when instructions are not complete for non tech people.  Thanks anyway.  Still trying to pair so I'm guessing it is a lost cause for these headphones.

The Flyer can pair to both the phone and the ionic at the same time. Most headphones will not do this and will need to be disconnected from the phone before connecting to the Ionic.

As for connecting the Ionic to your account, it should not matter if a headphone is connected or not.
