Pandora and GPS issues

Over the past couple of runs when I play pandora and use the gps on my ionic about a half mile in the watch goes to the fitbit icon and stops working. It does this several times during the run. When I just run with the gps there are no problems, however since I bought this particular watch to run and listen to pandora need to understand what is causing this and how will this be resolved...Thanks

I get 30 seconds to several minutes of the fit bit icon then the watch returns to my home screen, turning off pandora and the gps
