Pausing Run not working when Cue Screen is ON

When in Run Exercise Mode,

If you try to pause (bottom right button) when the Cue Screen is ON -- it won't pause. You don't even know if its paused or not because the Cue Screen is ON.

Example:

Let's say your Cues are set to 1KM

You hit 1KM the Cue Screen pops up showing you 5:05 M/KM - if you hit Pause while that Cue Screen is ON it will not pause; and you are not aware if it is or isn't paused until the Cue Screen disappears. 

Any work around ? Please help> Thanks

It's great to have you here @EMCee! Thanks for the details that you've mentioned. At this time, it stays on for a couple of seconds right after it stops showing it and it won't pause when it's showing you the cue screen.
