Pay with Ionic message

I'm getting a message saying "pay with ionic" randomly almost all the time. I just need to activate the watch and after 1-2 seconds it randomly pops up and then disappears. 3-4 sec later again and again. Anyone had this? I'm doing a factory reset but if that doesnt help I guess that I'd be returning it first thing tomorrow

That's what I'm seeing almost constantly. Am I doing something wrong or is the unit simply broken?

I have the same trouble too. Did anyone find a solution to this? I have tried restart and turn off/on, but the problem is still there. Haven't tried a factory reset yet though.

Even if I turn the unit off it turns itself back on after a while... it's like the left button is initiated without me pushing it!?!?

No response at all I took mine back and got a refund because it froze and I
couldn't unlock it. Very poor customer service

My Ionic presented the same message, annoyingly often.  Several resets, factory resets and two calls to the support desk resulted in a replacement.  It appears the replacement finally solved the problem.

I'm seeing the same issue.... I'm about ready to chuck this thing out the window!! It keeps vibrating and reminding me I can pay with Ionic.  I'm seeing the OK... I GET IT already.  It's making the device unwearable!   Sheeeesh....

Did you figure out how to turn off the notification ?!?!

Hi there - after a frustrating few weeks. The answer I kept getting from Fitbit helpdesk (who were helpful I must say) was drawing a line in the sand and saying enough was enough. I took it back to the store in which it was bought, paid $120 more and got a Garmin Vivoactive3. Very happy with it too.

Yes, I pushed support to replace the watch.  I have had the replacement
for a week, no insipid message.

And yes, I was ready to smash the watch and send the pieces back to Fitbit.
