Is there a formal fitbit provided step by step guide for transferring personal music?

I've had no luck with the current firmware or with the beta SDK firmware.  Tech support was unable to help also and suggested I post here.

Thanks

I absolutely hate Microsoft Media centre/player so much so I removed it and bought/installed JRiver media centre. I'm not going to revert,I doubt JRiver is going to work, so that's me screwed.

Plus I use FLAC.

I will conclude my Ionic is defective.

I've found no help from any articles or forums to date I have tried above and beyond what a "normal" user would try:

  • Tried initially with non SDK firmware and later SDK firmware
  • I've tried transferring from two separate PC's (connected to same wifi as Ionic)
  • I tried from a MacBook (connected to same wifi as Ionic)
  • Disabled firewall in every scenario on all devices in play
  • I've set up a completely new (hardware not just new SSID) 2.4ghz wifi router (network isolation disabled)
  • Verified via DHCP reservation that the Ionic has the proper and expected IP
  • Tried using manual IP in the app
  • When I choose a network in the Windows app it tells me it is I connected to wifi (and I can verify on my router it in fact is...)
  • Can connect to both existing and aforementioned new wifi to build watch faces
  • Can verify with WireShark that the Ionic never communicates with ANY of 3 devices I've tried to sync with
  • I'm reverting from SDK firmware and testing again - do not expect success

Are there logs anywhere I can review for hints?

I sadly expect to return the Ionic, which I see as a very expensive beta product at this point.

Try temporarily disabling 5Ghz WiFi.

Tried that, was part of my logic in setting up the new wifi router.  Then just today disabled on my original and current router too.

Thanks
