Folks,
Is anyone else finding the raise to wake function a little unpredictable? I'm finding that it is not working for me ~50% of the time, something that I didn't ever experience with my AW or Blaze.
The double tap to wake is the only reliable way that I can get my screen to turn on... 😞
I'm getting the same thing, maybe even worse. Sometimes the double tap is flakey too.
I really wish the screen would turn on automatically when getting notifications. That's how my Garmin Forerunner 235 works, and it's much more convenient. Does anyone know of a way to configure that behavior? I can only find the option to turn on/off the raise to wake function.
Agreed. About half the time the watch doesn’t turn on when I raise my arm. It’s very annoying. I hope they fix this soon
Swiping right to change the setting totally resolved my issue 🙂 Prior to that, I thought it was weird that it somehow reverted back to manual after giving it a full charge yesterday
It's set on auto and still won't come on half of the time I raise my arm or shake my wrist.
Most time nothing.
If I move my arm forcefully enough that my wrist hurt then it comes on sometimes.
It's just not sensitive enough. I'm working to code my watchface itself to be more sensitive to wrist raising, and then stay on for longer. Hopefully they will tweak this in future updates of the OS though. Truly miss the always-on display of other watches.
I can’t find the setting? Where is it located?
Best AnswerI had the same problem as yours but after an update occurred.
1) reset watch hold down left and bottom right buttons same time and let go once you see fitbit icon appear.
2) swipe right to view left shortcuts, if you Screen Wake it may be set on manual and requires to be changed back to auto.
Hope this helps.
Great answer! Was having the same issue. Why isn't this "setting" under the "settings" menu though?
Best AnswerTHANNNNK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Couldn't figure out why it would not wake up!
