Possible bug in auto time zone update

I noticed what looks like a bug in the "auto" time zone update feature.  I am using my Ionic with an iPhone.  What I have noticed is that when the iPhone time zone is MANUALLY changed, the watch automatically gets updated at the next sync.  This is as expected.  The "bug" is that if my phone is set for auto time zone update my watch does NOT update with the phone but rather stays on whatever the now grayed out manual setting for the phone is.

Last week this forum was plastered with warnings for US users about timezone bugs from fitbit.
Luckily for them the UK beta tested it for them a week earlier.
