My Fitbit ionic lost power but when I’ve connected the charger it doesn’t appear to be charging

Same thing happened to me.  Working fine then went dead. The battery was at 85%. It won't turn on or reboot. Restart and hard restart procedure was tried. I have read several comments online of similar situations.  Waiting to hear back from support
