Hi,

I'm just wondering whether anyone can answer these questions for me, please?

  1. If the Ionic pairs with the phone via bluetooth, what happens if the phone needs to be paired with another device at the same time ie a navigation device perhaps?  Can phones support multiple connections or does this depend on the phone?
  2. Are calendar events and alarms on the phone notified on the Ionic or do you have to set these on the watch?  What happens if you move away from the phone, do upcoming alarms and calendar events get cached?
  3. I understand that the Ionic can answer the phone if it rings?  If so, can this be disabled so that I get a notification that it has rung but not have the option to answer?  I don't want to accidentally be answering calls by 'knocking' the screen whilst the phone is ringing but I do want to know that it has happened.

If anyone knows the answers to these it would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi @cosmarchy, welcome to the community.

1. Yes you can have multiple Bluetooth devices paired to your phone.

2. The Ionic is able to mirror your phone's notifications, so if you receive a calendar notification on your phone you'll also be able to see it on the Ionic. If you are out of range you simply won't get the notification on the Ionic. Alarms are separate and are set on the Ionic itself.

3. You can disable call notifications completely, but I'm not aware of an option to only notify of missed calls.
