If Fitbit wants to compete with the Apple Watch they need to look at discounting the ionic and other watches to make consumers want a Fitbit. The ionic is $399.99 in Canada and you can get an Apple Watch for $430 so why go with the Fitbit when you can get an Apple Watch for $30 more and it has more options and capabilities

The Ionic works better for many people than the Apple Watch. For one, I would never buy the Apple Watch.

Contrary to popular belief, net everyone wants an Apple Watch, any more than everyone wanting a Fitbit or everyone wanting a Garmin.

Could not agree more. The apple could be $100 less than the Ionic and I would still buy the Fitbit.
Seriously, you could give me an Apple Watch for nothing and I would still spend $300 on the Ionic and sell the AW on eBay.
I don't want a watch that I have to charge daily, sorry, not interested in the slightest.

Fitbit Ionic is a good fitness watch for sure but while Fitbit discounting out all of their gears, they didn't discount fitbit ionic not even a bit in their site. So right now only discount option is from best buy and it is a 50$ discount coupon so if you pay 10$ more you can buy the leather strap on top of your ionic (just for black friday)
I think Fitbit should be more competitive so I totally agree on the other hand I won't buy apple watch as well, first of all I am not using iphone and secondly don't want to charge my watch every day and I think fitbit application looking more handsome)
