If anyone else is having problems receiving notifications i understand that it is a bug that Fitbit is aware of and ixing. Not sure of timeframe but notifications are haphazard. I have an iPhone 7.

Have you checked to make sure you don't have a pending update to the app? I had that happen with my iPhone 7. Also I've noticed that occasionally the notification setting will turn itself off. Swipe right on the mail screen to verify you have Notification -- received from phone set.
